FRAMINGHAM – Rita T. (Daly) Goulet, of Framingham, passed away peacefully January 7, 2022.

She was the beloved wife of Robert A. Goulet of Framingham with whom she shared 72 years of marriage.

Rita was the last of 10 children of William and Ellen Daly of Worcester. Rita is survived by her six children: Robert Goulet, Jr. and wife Gretchen of Plymouth, NH, John Goulet and wife Ellen of Sandwich, Thomas Goulet and wife Martha of Framingham, Mary Drake and husband James of Framingham also Maureen Mattocks and husband Richard of Hudson and Kathleen Harris and husband Paul of La Belle,FL.; 22 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Rita was predeceased by her 9 siblings: Anne Auzer-Peppin of Milbury, Margaret Powers, Ellen Dolan and William, Edmund, George, John, Andrew and Thomas Daly all of Worcester, and her grandson: Matt Harris.

Rita’s life was devoted to her family and her Catholic faith and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Beaumont in Natick (Wilson Floor) for providing loving care for Rita in her final years.

A time of visitation will be held Friday January 14 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Boyle Bros. Funeral Home, 173 Union Ave., Framingham.

A funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Bridget’s Church, 830 Worcester Road in Framingham.

Burial will be at St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Fenwick St., Framingham.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, face masks are required for both the visiting hour and Mass.
