Paul J. Bratica, 61, a resident of Ashland and formerly Framingham, died Friday morning, June 27, 2025 after a period of declining health. Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Raymond and Patricia (Patsy) Bratica.
Born deaf, Paul was raised and educated in Framingham. He was a member of the first deaf graduating class from Framingham North High School. He attended the Learning Center for the Deaf in Framingham and was hired full time doing maintenance and custodial work shortly after, enjoying a 40 year career at TLC. Working was his life.
Quiet by nature, Paul loved TV and movies and had a large collection of DVDs. He enjoyed shopping, was a collector of anything and everything, and especially loved trucks and Matchbox cars. He was an avid Boston Celtics fan.
Paul is survived by his brothers, Brian & his wife Katie of Ashland,and Mark of Marlborough, and his niece and nephews, Jailyn, Jayson, Christopher, and Connor.
Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Paul’s life by gathering for a time of visitation in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Tuesday July 8, 2025 from 4-7PM. Interment will be private.
