NORTH ANDOVER – Framingham finished 10th at the combined D1 & D2 Outdoor Track & Field Championship Meet at North Andover High School this weekend.

The Flyers left the Merrimack Valley with two championship titles.

Senior captain Sophie Albright won the high jump title, again. Her winning leap was 5-feet, 5-inches.

The Flyers 4X100 relay won, breaking a school record, and recording the best time in the state at 48.89 seconds.

About 30 teams competed, with rival Newton North taking the team title with 73.5 points. Flyers scored 28 points.

Framingham freshman finished third in the 400-meter hurdles and also will move on to all-states meet next weekend.

Her time of 66.27 seconds broke her own Framingham High School record in outdoor track, said coach Chris Collins.

Junior Trinity trainor finished in seventh place in the pentathlon with 2,270 points.

Freshmen Ella Terranova and Maggie Spring took 15th & 16th place in the 400-meter hurdles. Terranova’s time was 73.92 seconds and Spring’s was 74.84 seconds.

Sophomore Madelin Jones finished 17th in the 100-meter dash in 13.51 seconds.

Junior Laura Dube finished 20th in the mile in 5;46.20 minutes.

Jones also competed in the 200-meter event and took 21st place in 28.15 seconds.

Trainor and Spring also competed in the 110-meter hurdles. Trainor finished 21st in 18.11 second and Spring 24th in 18.62 seconds.
