Fabio Francisco Arriero, 64, a resident of Ashland, died Saturday, April 27th, 2024. Born in Chia, Columbia, he was the son of the late Mercedes Vargas viuda de Arriero and Dario Vargas, and the husband of Hilda Vargas.
Fabio immigrated to the US in 1976. He was a 1984 graduate of Keefe Tech. Fabio began his career at the T.J. Maxx distribution center warehouse in January of 1981, and was set to retire in the coming months.
Fabio enjoyed spending time with his family, particularly his grandchildren, and enjoyed vacations to his native country, Columbia.
Besides his wife Hilda, Fabio is survived by his children, Maria Arriero, Jose Arriero, Sonia Galeano, and Fabio Arriero, his step son, Luis Vargas, his grandchildren, Marielys Santiago, Yariel Arriero, Rosemery Noriega, Angelina Halloran-Arriero, Adamaris Santiago, Tyrxon Galeano, and Violett Arriero, his siblings, Juan Arriero, Dario Arriero, Humberto Arriero, and Marth Arriero. Besides his parents, Fabio was predeceased by his siblings, Gonzalo Vargas, Gladys Arriero, and Hector Hernando Arriero.
Family and friends will honor and remember Fabio’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Thursday, May 9th from 5-8PM. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Stephen Church, 251 Concord St. Framingham on Friday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery.
