ASHLAND – “Today is the final day before the February break. I know how challenging these times have been for each of you and I hope that you all can take a moment to catch your breath, relax, and rejuvenate. Many of us have experienced long bouts of frustration lately whether our learning models and lack of consistently working technology. COVID Fatigue is quite real,” wrote Ashland Superintendent of Schools Jim Adams to families today February 12.

“Please know that our technology department is working around the clock to fix issues that arise and currently exist.  We’ve invested well over $150,000 in a new internet platform and to say we are not pleased with how things are working would be a gross understatement,” wrote Supt. Adams.

“I promise we will continue our pursuit of getting better for the sake of our educators and students. I apologize for any and all disruptions you’ve encountered in the past couple of weeks,” said Supt Adams, as students and staff begin February break today.
