It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Angus Creighton MacDonald, who departed this world peacefully at home surrounded by family on July 1, 2025. Angus was a loving father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend, known for his unwavering dedication to his family and his work.

Angus was born in Judique, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, to Elizabeth ‘Lizzy’ and Daniel ‘Dan J’ MacDonald, both of whom predeceased him. He spent his life in Framingham, Massachusetts, where he built a legacy of hard work and love.

He dedicated much of his life to his profession as a Teamster truck driver, exemplifying reliability and commitment over the decades. He was also known for the love and affection of his beloved dog and best friend, Archie, who brought him immense joy and companionship.

As we grieve the loss of Angus, we also celebrate his life and the indelible mark he left on all who knew him. May his memory be a source of comfort and strength to his family and friends during this time of sorrow. Angus will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

May he rest in eternal peace.

Angus was the devoted husband of Bernadette MacDonald, who passed away in 1998. Angus leaves behind his cherished children, daughter Meghan MacDonald and her husband Peter Magazzu and son Ryan MacDonald. He was the dear brother to Jackie ‘Dan J’ MacDonald (his wife Anne) and Anne Loveland (deceased). He was a proud grandfather to Tyler, Peter Michael, Danny, Breton, and Ellie. Angus was also an uncle to many nieces and nephews, who will fondly remember his guidance and love.

Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Angus’ life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Wednesday, July 9th from 4-8PM. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. George Church, 74 School St. Framingham on Thursday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery.
