FRAMINGHAM – How affordable is Framingham for housing?

This Labor Day weekend, the lowest priced single-family home in the City of Framingham is this Cape house, built in 1867, in need of help, at $349,000.

The average Framingham house price was $469,000 in August, up 2.2%.

There are currently 75 homes for sale in the City of Framingham. The median home list price is $499,000, this week.

In July, the lowest single-priced home in the City of Framingham was $319,000 a Colonial in Coburnville.

The 108 Cochituate Road property was the lowest price home for sale on Realtor.com this holiday weekend. There were condos and duplex at a lower price.

The 3-bedroom, and one bathroom 896 square foot home site on a 0.43 acre lot.

The City of Framingham has assessed the property for $319,100 for 2020, with the land valued more than the house. The land is valued at $170,400 and is in a R1 zoned district.

The Grupposo Group writes of the property in the listing “Attention contractors, landscapers, painters and other tradespeople! House in need of serious updating sitting on nearly a half-acre. Tons of room for trucks and equipment. Ideal live/work opportunity. Tremendous Rt. 30 location.”

The property last sold in June 1997 for $123,000.

The property has been on the market for 113 days.
