Chestnut Hill Realty has received national recognition as one of the Best Places to Work in Multifamily, according to survey results published annually by Multifamily Leadership. The accolade was announced at the Multifamily Innovation & AI Summit in Phoenix, AZ, in early December.
CHR ranked #17 nationally and is the top-rated employer in New England for companies managing 1-5,000 apartments. This is the fifth consecutive year that Chestnut Hill Realty has received the honor and second consecutive placement in the top 20.
The company also earned recognition as a 2025 Best Places to Work in Multifamily for Women, appearing as the 21th ranked company in the country and tops in Massachusetts.
The rankings are the result of an independently conducted national survey. Companies in the multifamily housing industry opt-in to participate in the survey with results based on employee feedback. The program rewards companies that excel in creating and nurturing exceptional workplace cultures.
The Best Places to Work in Multifamily for Women list sets rigorous criteria for organizations aspiring to be acknowledged for their commitment to inclusivity. A comprehensive evaluation process underpins these rankings, delving into company policies, employee satisfaction, female representation and engagement.
“Our most valuable asset is our people,” says Ed Zuker, CHR Founder and CEO. “We’ve seen extraordinary results when our employees are engaged, empowered and aligned with our mission – Managing People’s Homes with Pride.”
Chestnut Hill Realty is one of New England’s leading residential real estate companies, specializing in multifamily housing. Established in 1969, CHR owns and manages 5,000 units in 31 apartment home communities in Greater Boston and Rhode Island with a combined portfolio value of $1.5 billion.
