WORCESTER – MassDOT and Mass State Police have re-opened Route 190 in Worcester, after a sign fell onto the highway this morning, August 9.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation Tweeted that Exit 1 of Route 190 Southbound in Worcester would be temporarily closed around 8:20 a.m.

Motorists were instructed to use exit 2 on Route 190 instead, after a sign fell on the highway.

No one was injured, said Mass State Police.

The road re-opened around 8:45 a.m.
