FRAMINGHAM – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing it will be conducting overnight construction operations at the Route 9 westbound ramps to Route 126 northbound and Beacon Street in Framingham. During the work the following temporary overnight closures will be in place.

The Route 9 westbound ramp to Beacon Street in Framingham will be closed from Sunday night, June 19, through Friday morning, June 24 between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.  

During the work traffic will be directed to follow the detour below:

  • Traffic traveling on Route 9 westbound will be directed to use the Route 30 Cochituate Road ramp.

The Route 126 northbound ramp to Route 9 westbound in Framingham will be closed from Sunday night, June 19, through Friday morning, June 24 between the hours of 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.  During the work traffic will be directed to follow the detour listed below:

  • Traffic looking to access Route 9 westbound from Route 126 northbound will be directed to use the Fairbanks Street/Beacon Street ramp.

Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.

Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution. 

All scheduled work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.
