Theresa R. Park, 84, a longtime resident of Framingham, died Thursday, May 2, 2024 after a period of declining health. Born in Warwick, NY, she was the daughter of the late Stanley & Tessie (Grzywaczewski) Ziobro.
Theresa was raised and educated in Florida, NY, and was a graduate of SS Seward Institute. She settled in Medway, MA in 1968 and stayed there until 1996 when moved to Ashland, and later to Framingham.
Theresa was a talented cake decorator, and enjoyed sewing and reaping the benefits of her gardens. She loved volleyball and ping pong. In her later years, she spent many hours at the Calahan Center in Framingham. Mostly, she relished in time spent with family, particularly her grandchildren.
Theresa is survived by her daughters, Lorraine Park, and Kelley Park Gittings & her husband Eric, her grandchildren, Isaiah Strong, Christopher Strong, Joshua Gittings & his wife Charlotte, Tricia Gittings, and Rachel Gittings, and her sister, Frances Weeks.
Besides her parents, Theresa was predeceased by her brother, John Ziobro.
Family and friends will honor and remember Theresa’s life by gathering for a time of visitation in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. FRAMINGHAM on Saturday, May 18th from 2-3:30PM. Her Funeral Service will follow. Interment will be private.
