FRAMINGHAM – For the third time in three weeks, a thief stole thousands of dollars worth of golf clubs from a Framingham store.

On Sunday, May 1 at 4:55 p.m. Golf Galaxy reported a theft of golf clubs, according to the police spokesperson.

“Total value listed as $2,750,” said Framingham Police Lt. Robert Sibilio.

The “suspect was listed a white male wearing all black, no further description,” said Lt. Sibilio.

This is the third time since April 21, that golf clubs have been stolen from the Route 9 Framingham store.

On April 21, a man entered Golf Galaxy at 1 Worcester Road and stole “five drivers worth $2,700,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

On April 23, a male entered the Route 9 store and stole “3 drivers worth $1,650,” said Lt. Mickens.

In total more than $7,000 in golf clubs have been stolen since April 21, according to police.
