1 Today is the final day of the Framingham Public Schools Youth in Art exhibit at the main Framingham Public Library on Lexington Street. The art is on display in the lobby and in the Costin room of the main library. The featured art in today’s column is from that exhibit (along with the two other photos below)

2. The Framingham School Committee meets tonight at 7 in the Blumer Room at the Memorial Building. Mayor Charlie Sisitsky is expected to attend.

3. Other CITY of FRAMINGHAM meetings (Zoom or remote unless otherwise noted):

  • Framingham Conservation Commission at 7 p.m.
  • Framingham Traffic Commission – Traffic Regulation Subcommittee at 3 p.m.
  • Framingham Board of Assessors at 5:15 p.m.

3. Framingham High School’s Drama Company will stage a benefit performance of its METG entry Flora & Ulysses on Friday at 6. Tickets are available still.

4. Today is National Doctors’ Day.

This week is also National Physicians’ Week.

5. SOURCE is seeking interns for the summer. High school and college students can apply. Submit a cover letter, three writing samples, and a resume.

Interested in photojournalism internship – submit up to 12 photos with a cover letter and resume. Video journalists should submit a highlight reel of no more than 5 minutes.
