FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police arrested two individuals on drug & motor vehcile charges on Labor Day, after a motor vehicle stop on Route 126.

A police officer stopped the vehicle for “attached plates,” said the police spokesperson.

During the investigation, the officer learned the driver of the vehicle was “unlicensesd” said Lt. Rachel Mickens.

Officers then located “what appeared to be cocaine, methamphetamine and prescription pills,” in the vehicle, said Lt. Mickens.

Both the drivers and the passenger were arrested at 520 Concord Street.

Arrested at 1:26 p.m. was Charles Bersch, 37, of 460 Pine Street of Providence, Rhode Island.

Bersch was charged with operating a motor vehicle with no license, operating a motor vehicle with no registration, operating a motor vehicle with no insurance, attaching wrong license plates to a motor vehicle, possession of a Class B drug (two counts) and possession of a Class E drug.

Also arrested was Monica Ciannavei, 28, of 30 Martin Lane of Wrentham. She was charged with possession of a Class E drug.

“Ciannavei was the passenger in this motor vehicle and was found to have a large number of Xanax,” said Lt. Mickens.
