FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police are investigating a report of a man spraying two dogs with something on Monday afternoon.

Two women were walking on the trails on Nixon Road in the Nobscot section of the City, yesterday, August 16, between 4:30 and 5 p.m. with their dogs walking ahead of them, according to police, when the incident happened.

The dogs were off leash, according to the police report.

The women reported to police officers that a man “encountered the dogs and sprayed them with something, possibly a pepper spray,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

Police were not able to locate the man,

It is unknown why the man sprayed the dogs.

The incident was reported to police at 4:48 p.m. at 32 Nixon Road, near Iron Horse Dressage.
