FRAMINGHAM – There were 9 applicants for vice principal at Barbieri Elementary School, said Framingham Assistant Superintendent of Schools Inna London.

In March 2021, Waltham Public Schools offered a principal position to Barbieri Elementary Vice Principal Ricardo Dobles.

The position was post on March 31.

There are three candidates for the post now, said London.

“Applicants meet with a school based committee formed by teachers, coaches and administrators,” explained Assistant Superintendent London. “Then finalists are selected to meet with a committee of parents and senior leaders. Finally, a meet and greet with Assistant Superintendents and the principal makes the final decision.”
