Framingham Police Officer Injured in Route 9 Crash

FRAMINGHAM – A Framingham Police cruiser was involved in a crash on Route 9 earlier this afternoon, July 7.

A driver of another vehicle struck the cruiser at 150 Worcester Road, while it was responding to a call. The cruiser had its lights & sirens on, according to police.

The driver was issued a citation for failure to yield.

The officer was treated at MetroWest Medical Center and later released.
