FRAMINGHAM – Families and neighbors in the Woodcrest Acres hosted their 2nd annual Independence Day block party.

There was a bicycle parade with scooters and bikes decorated in red, white, blue. One of the hosts Gregg Stein spun tunes.

There were ribs, pulled pork, burgers and hot dogs sold from the Cricket Cafe. For dessert their was the Kona Ice and even an ice cream truck for the dogs.

Framingham Veterans Council member Nick Paganaella, 88, a U.S. Army Veteran, stopped by dressed as Uncle Sam, posed for photos, and sang God Bless America.

It was a great opportunity for neighbors and friends to gather post-pandemic and to celebrate the 4th of July.
