FRAMINGHAM – In the first five hours nomination papers were available, 4 individuals pulled papers to be the City of Framingham’s Mayor.
Current Mayor Yvonne Spicer was the fourth individual to pulled papers to run for Mayor.
Long-time Selectman and former City Councilor Charlie Sisitsky, Nobscot resident Rick McKenna, and political newcomer Carlos Valadares all pulled papers to run for Mayor.
If all four return the nomination papers and they are certified, there will be a preliminary election in September.
The top two candidates in September will appear on the November ballot.
