FRAMINGHAM – Despite a large search for a Framingham puppy in Ashland yesterday, Benji is still missing.

The Bronzetti family, who live in the Tripoli neighborhood in Framingham, had a search party at Ashland State Park on Sunday afternoon for their missing 10-month-old dog. The Tripoli neighborhood borders Ashland.

“It was truly an amazing turnout yesterday for our search for Benji,” said Bubba Bronzetti. “I want to thank each and everyone of you for helping us look for our boy, unfortunately we came up empty.

Hundreds of people participated in the search on Sunday.

Benji has been missing since August 8, along with Sadie, a female chocolate Labrador retriever.

Sadie was found in Ashland a few days later, but Benji has not come home.

He has been seen on several occasions, near Fay Road in Framingham, near Cedar Street in Ashland, and near Ashland State Park.

“I can’t put into words the amount of different emotions running through us. We are devastated. Please just keep your eyes out. My heart is broken,” said Bronzetti.
