1 Framingham Public Library hosts author Ted Reinstein as he discusses his new book Before Brooklyn. In a sweeping story spanning the six decades during which Black baseball players were banned from the major leagues, we meet the extraordinary Americans from all walks of life who never gave up the struggle to integrate our national pastime and overturn its racist past. They directly paved the way for Jackie Robinson, but received little fanfare and remained largely anonymous. Until now.

2. The Framingham High Hall of Fame Foundation, a 50c13 organization, announced over the weekend they will begin holding a Framingham Alumni Hall of Fame ceremony in 2022 to go along with the 4th Annual Flyers (athletic) Hall of Fame in 2022. Read more here.

5. FLYERS in Action:
- Framingham High boys soccer team is seeded #7 in the MIAA Tournament and will host a game at Bowditch Field on Tuesday. Time is still to be determined. The boys won 2-1 on Saturday night.
- Framingham High girls soccer team is ranked #16 and lost last night in a shootout. The score was 1-1 after double overtime.
