FRAMINGHAM – The Gateway Camera Club presents Abstract Architecture photography –Creativity in Composition with Angie McMonigal on Tuesday, January 24 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. via Zoom.

Join the Club for a discussion focusing on creative approaches to architectural subjects.

Emphasis will be on architectural details and creating abstracts of the built environment.

She’ll share how to uncover creative viewpoints and how to best utilize compositional tools to create more compelling images.

McMonigal is a fine art and commercial architecture photographer based in Chicago striving to bring a detailed, thoughtful perspective to her work, whether for clients or through the workshops she leads.

“My mission is to help creative-minded photographers explore the world of architectural photography. Through blog posts, eBooks, newsletters, photowalks and workshops, I aim to provide hands-on, practical and creative training. You’ll be able to improve your entire creative process from shooting to post-processing,” said the photographer. “You can find my work published and exhibited both nationally and internationally. I frequently work with art consultants, designers, brands, architectural firms, and private collectors. I’ve taught at numerous conferences and have led workshops throughout the United States as well as Canada and Europe.” 

Gateway Camera Club membership consists of beginner, intermediate and advanced photographers. 

Their goals are to share ideas, knowledge and insight; to help improve the skills and abilities of its members and to have some fun while enjoying photography.
