FRAMINGHAM – The author of the book The Cocoanut Grove Nightclub Fire will be the guest speaker at the January Temple Beth Am Brotherhood brekafast.

Stephanie Shorow will talk about her book on the famous nightclub fire.

The Boston nightclub fire happened on November 28, 1942, and resulted in the deaths of 492 people. It is the deadliest nightclub fire in U.S. history, and the second-deadliest single-building fire (after the Iroquois Theatre fire).

The breakfast is Sunday, January 29 from 9 to 11 a.m.

The cost to attend is $15 and includes a breakfast buffet.

Deadline to RSVP is January 25.
