FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Department of Public Works announced the intersection in Nobscot Village at Edgell Road, Water Street, and Edmands Road will be paved this week.

Work will begin on Wednesday, November 9, although paving will not take place until November 10 & 11. Paving is scheduled both days, weather permitting, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Beginning Wednesday, November 9, the protective asphalt will be removed from the raised castings, to facilitate paving.

These raised castings have proven difficult for drivers to navigate, resulting in a number of flat tires recently, said DPW.

Signs, advising drivers of the raised castings, will be installed at the limits of the work and the castings will be painted for additional visibility.

Cones and barrels will be employed at several locations, however, these are not feasible within the travel lanes, and drivers should slow down while driving through the intersection.
