1 The City Council last night unanimously approved the Mayor’s pick for the City of Framingham’s Chief Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Officer.

The City Council also in a 10-0-1 vote approved the Mayor’s pick for Citizen Participation Officer.

Also last night, the Select Board in Stoughton opted to go with a former state representative for its next leader and not former Framingham Mayor Yvonne Spicer, who was one of four finalists. She was the only woman candidate.

2. Early in-person voting for the City’s election will take place at the Memorial Building today from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Early voting ends on Friday, November 4 at 2 p.m. Election day is Tuesday, November 8. On Sunday, election workers said the 500th voter participated in early in-person voting in the City.
