FRAMINGHAM – Framingham High freshman Sasha Lamakina finished in 10th place overall out of 80 runners at the Bay State Conference cross-country championship meet over the weekend.

Lamakina’s time was 19:05.6 minutes.

The winner was Brookline High senior Camille Jordan who crossed the finish line at 17:56.2

Brookline won the team competition too, with 41 points. Brookline runners crossed the finish line first, fourth, 8th, 9th and 19th.

Wellesley finished second with 49 points, and Needham High third with 83 points.

Framingham finished 10th out of 10 teams with 252 points.

Lamakina will compete in the state divisional meet on November 12, along with the Flyers top six runners.

Over the weekend, senior captain Chloe Mills finished 50th overall in 21:34.5 minutes at the Bay State Conference championship meet.

Sophomores Liesel Krohne and Marieme Ngom were third & fourth for the Flyers, with junior Hailey Hohenstein fifth.

Seniors Samantha Steenbruggen and Mia DeMore were 6th and 7th for the Flyers.
