FRAMINGHAM – City of Framingham Mayor Charlie Sisitsky has selected the Communication Director for the Town of Sutton, to be his administration’s new Citizen Participation Officer.
Pamela Nichols has held that position for 15 years, since 2007.
Her resume to the City stated “Create transparency, build community relationships and empower citizens through development and administration of municipal communications efforts and programs for specific needs and long-term strategies including messaging, web page, social media, public & media relations, three local cable access stations and printed materials.”
The resume said in her role as Communication Director she “Perform professional dudes requiring initiative, judgment and planning for program operations, budged and finance operations, employee supervision, and relationship management with various publics including residents, staff, school officials, service providers, vendors, other municipalities as well as local, state and federal agencies.”
A 1984 graduate of Sutton Memorial High School, she is a 1988 graduate of Syracuse University.

The City Council appointment subcommittee will review the nomination on Tuesday, before the full City Council will vote on the nomination.
