WEYMOUTH – the Framingham High girls volleyball team won its first match on the road this season.

The Flyers Defeat the Wildcats of Weymouth High today, October 6.

Final score was 3-1. Game scores 25-15, 25-14, 18-25, 25-14.

It was just the second win of the season for the Flyers.

Solid play by the whole team tonight as we continue to show huge growth, said head coach Emily Viti.

“Maggie Spring stepped up big time having to change her position from setter to outside hitter and earned 11 kills and 6 serving aces,” said Coach Viti.

“Emily Chipolone had an impressive 12 point service run,” said Coach Viti.

“Marissa MaCaullife ran a 5-1 offense for the first time and setting her teammates for an offense that Weymouth struggled to defend,” said Coach Viti.

Framingham Hosts Brookline High on Tuesday, October 11 at 4 p.m.
