WEYMOUTH – The Wildcats and the Flyers battled to a 1-1 tie in Weymouth on Thursday evening, October 6.

The Framingham High boys soccer team is now 7-1-3 overall, under head coach Dan Avery.

The Flyers fell behind early and trailed 1-0 at the half

“The boys picked up the pace in the second half and sophomore midfielder Nico Harutunian got the equalizer on a header off of a corner kick. The play was assisted by seniors Yuri Teixeira and Ben Sharon,” said coach Jon Wood.

Junior forward Ben Dionisio had an excellent game up top, said Coach Wood.

Defensively the Flyers were led by Ben Sharon, Dhiego Miranda, and sophomore Jason Rappa, said Coach Wood.

Framingham is back on the field Saturday morning in a non-league game against Shrewsbury High at 11 a.m.
