BROOKLINE – The Framingham High girls cross-country team travelled to Brookline’s Larz Anderson course on Wednesday and struggled on the “hard course.”

Freshman Sasha Lamakina finished the race third overall in 19.56 minutes. She was the first Framingham Flyer across the finish line.

“Breaking up a perfect score for Brookline and leading the way to the season best score for the Flyers against Brookline, albeit in defeat,” said head coach Ed Crowley.

Brookline senior Camille Jordan and Brookline junior Lucia Werner crossed the finish line first in 19.14 minutes.

Framingham lost to Brookline 15-50.

Framingham lost to Braintree 23-37.

Framingham is now 0-4 to start the season.

Senior captain Chloe Mills (pictured) was 11th overall and the second Framingham runner to cross the finish line in 22:31 minutes.

Senior Mia DeMore was the third Flyer across the finish line. She was 17th overall in 23.59 minutes.

Sophomore Marieme Ngom was fourth for Framingham and 19th overall at 24.16 minutes.

Senior Sam Steenbrugen was fifth for Framingham and 20th overall in 26 minutes flat.

Framingham’s next meet is on the road again, against Weymouth High and Wellesley High on Wednesday, September 21.
