FRAMINGHAM – Beatrice V. (Boston) Teel, 90, of Framingham, MA died, Monday, August 8, 2022, in Overland Park Kansas.

Beatrice was born in Malden, MA, on October 6, 1931, to the late John C and Elsie (Montrose) Boston.

She graduated in 1949, from Cheverus High School in Malden.

Upon graduation, Beatrice was employed at the Gas & Light Company in Malden.  She was later an administrative assistant at Lawsons Machine and Tool Company also in Malden.

Beatrice married the love of her life, Marvin R. Teel in 1963.  They moved to Framingham with their daughter, Joanne that same year.  While in Framingham, Bea was an at home mom who worked part time as a cashier at the A&P and later The Farm Stand grocery stores.  She loved gardening, good books, music theater, and was a huge fan of Neil Diamond.

Beatrice is survived by her daughter Joanne M. (Teel) Williams of Overland Park, KS, her son in law Scott W. Williams, grandchildren Matthew Williams of Overland Park KS and Mitchell Williams and his wife Chantelle of Denver, CO, and several nieces and a nephew.  She was the beloved sister of the late Charles F. Varney of Malden, William J. Boston of Stoneham, June E. Ring of Melrose, and Mary Jewell of York, ME.

A celebration of her life will be held graveside at Edgell Grove Cemetery in Framingham on September 22, 2022, at 10 a.m.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech Street, Framingham, MA 01702.
