FRAMINGHAM – I strongly endorse and support Margareth Shepard for representative for the 6th Middlesex district. She is a ray of hope for Framingham and will be a wonderful addition to our legislative delegation to further advance all of our community’s priorities.

Experience really matters in a job like state rep. And Margareth has it. She won two terms for City Council
and was a dedicated advocate for her constituents. Hard work and dedication really matter.

She is a longtime ally to a southside environmental warrior and has joined her in demanding pollution mitigation and openspace improvements downtown.

Margareth supports renewable energy for our city and our state, earning the endorsement of The Sierra Club. Her championing of women’s rights, immigrants’ rights, equity in education funding, progressive values, and civic engagement has made her the candidate of choice among a long list of
discerning national and state wide advocacy organizations.

Margareth has worked in the trenches of civic life, put in the time in local politics and issues, and built
relationships with many on Beacon Hill with whom she would serve. She has integrity, and wisdom. She
works to build consensus, not grab the spotlight.

Framingham will be well served if Margareth Shepard is elected to represent the new Sixth Middlesex district.
