FRAMINGHAM – The summer is beginning to wind down and we were lucky to get just a tiny bit of rain this week, something that will help reduce the dust on Centre Common but nowhere near enough to turn the brown grass there green, said Framingham Farmers’ Market manager Bill Sell.

The Market will be open on Thursday, August 25 from 3 t o 7 p.m. at the Framingham Centre Common.

Did you take part in Burn Boot Camp MetroWest last week? Brittany Clark and her coaches return at 5:30 for another chance to learn more about their training and conditioning program. Stop by their workout (you CAN just watch!) to learn more, said Sell.

Returning out near the food trucks is the interactive Pop-Up RC remote control cars, fun for kids and adults alike! While at the market stop by the information table from Public Lands, a new retail concept
store opening in a few weeks at Shoppers World. Find out what this store is all about, said Sell.

TWO FARMS THIS WEEK

When planning your visit this week we have two of our regular farms: Heaven’s Harvest Certified Organic with a large selection of produce (vegetables and fruits), and Wild Robbins Farm with pork, chicken, lam and turkey fresh frozen, plus a variety of prepared frozen items.

This week Silverwood Organic Farm is on vacation – something rare for a farm in summer!

Our community continues to support the Farmer Market in so many ways – we had just around 964
visitors last week. Think we can make it an even 1000 this week?

“WE NEED YOU TO STOP BUY TO KEEP THIS MOMENTUM GOING,” said Sell.
