1 Framingham Mayor Charlie Sisitsky has ordered the locked gates at Lake Waushkum Beach to be open starting this weekend. Read more at this link.

2. Temperatures this weekend could reach double digits. The City’s beaches are not officially open but the public can swim at them at their own risk, without lifeguards on duty.

The Framingham Public Library will be open on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The main library is open 1 to 5 on Sunday and the Christa McAuliffe is open 12 to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

3. Tonight is the senior prom cruise for Framingham High.

There are no varsity Framingham High action today.

4. There are no City of Framingham meetings today, and a reminder that City Hall closes at 2 p.m. on Fridays.

5. Volunteers are needed tomorrow at Edgell Grove Cemetery to plant more than 2,000 flags on veterans graves before Memorial Day. More information is available here.
