BOSTON – Temperatures could reach 100 degrees this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Today’s temperatures are expected to be a high of 60 degrees with a 50% chance of rain.

Friday, May 20 the forecast is for mostly sunny with a high of 80 degrees, which is great news for those attending proms.

But Saturday and Sunday the forecast calls for upper 90 degrees, with a possibility of triple-digit temperatures.

Right now, the federal agency is forecasting a high of 97 degrees on Saturday, with a low of just 70 degrees on Saturday night.

Sunday, the forecast is for a high of 98 degrees, with a low of about 66 degrees on Sunday night. The good news is there is a 30% chance of rain on Sunday night

The City’s beaches are not officially open for the season. Framingham Parks & Recreation typically does not open the trio of beaches officially until mid-June.
