BOSTON – A few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible this evening roughly between 5 to 9 p.m. across MetroWest, according to the National Weather Service.

The main threat will be locally strong to damaging wind gusts along with heavy rain/brief poor drainage street flooding.

The storms will take place as a cold front moves through the area tonight.

After the storm, weather temperatures will be more seasonable, although the area could see record highs again this weekend.
