FRAMINGHAM – Helga A. (Kouyoumdjian) Naoum, 77, a longtime resident of Framingham, died Wednesday, May 11, 2022 following a lengthy illness, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Baghdad, Iraq, Helga is the daughter of the late Armen & Aida Kouyoumdjian, and the beloved wife of Razik Naoum for 48 years.

Helga was raised and educated in Baghdad, where she and Razik started their family.

In 1991 they immigrated to the United States, first to California and Sudbury, before settling in Framingham.

Kind and genuine, with Helga it was “what you see is what you get.”

She worked for 17 years at TJ Maxx where she enjoyed her customers, and accrued quite a client base. She loved to help people, and more than anything enjoyed being with her husband, children and grandchildren.

Besides her dear husband Razik, Helga is survived by her children, Rana Dahbour & her husband Rabih of Methuen, Laith Naoum & his wife Ranin of Framingham, and Samer Naoum & his wife Dalya of Framingham, her grandchildren, Anthony and Laura Dahbour, and Jake Naoum, Daniel and Luca Naoum, her sisters, Vera, Manya, and Talia Kouyoumdjian, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Helga’s life by celebrating her Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning May 17 at Immaculate Conception Chaldean Mission in St. Zepherin Church, 99 Main Street Wayland, at 11 o’clock. Interment will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery in Framingham.

Arrangements by the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home of Framingham.
