FRAMINGHAM – Grace (Loscocco) Liberatore, 97, of Framingham, peacefully passed in her sleep Monday, April 18, 2022.

Born in East Boston, she was the daughter to the late Emmanuel and Filomena (Russo) Loscocco.

Grace graduated from East Boston High in 1942.

After retiring from U.S. Army Natick Labs, she worked for her brother’s printing business as a bookkeeper and at 85 was gainfully employed at Home Goods.

At 94, as the snow was falling, she decided to give up her driver’s license.

Grace enjoyed ballroom dancing and cooking fabulous meals out of nothing. But most importantly her family. Christmas Eve lobster dinners were epic.  “Large” shrimp on dinners out and a small jelly glass of red zinfandel with dinner led to her longevity..

Grace is survived by her children Linda Strayhorn and her husband William of Framingham, Lisa Liberatore of Venice, FL and Steven Liberatore and his wife Marianne of Ackworth, GA. Her 11 grandchildren Justin, Jill, Joseph Jeffrey; Andrea, Michael, Steven, Nicholas McCarthy; Anthony, Marina, Christina, Julia Liberatore and 10 great grandchildren with #11 due in May. She is also survived by her sister Frances Bongiovani and brother Nicholas Loscocco.

She is predeceased by her bothers Louis and Fred Loscocco, her sisters Marie Cerbone and Nancy Mastrangelo. And her former husband Rocco Liberatore.

Related and friends are kindly invited to attend her funeral Mass Friday April 29 at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen Church, 221 Concord Street in Framingham.

Followed by entombment at Edgell Grove Cemetery and Mausoleum, Framingham.
