NATICK – Michael Sobhy Mabardy, 39, of Natick passed away suddenly on April 19, 2022. 

A trusted Natick Police Officer of 11 years and former officer of the Nantucket Police Department, Michael took pride in the work he did.

As a child, he played Natick Comets Hockey and Natick Little League, and enjoyed time spent working on his grandfather’s farm.

Michael was the loving son of Lisa (Heaney) and Michael Mabardy of Natick. Devoted father of Avalynn, Emily, Madison and Mackenzie, and beloved partner of Elizabeth Morrison of Norfolk. Brother of Ashley Means and her husband Christopher and Alyssa Mabardy, all of Natick. Uncle of Hadleigh, Ainsley, and Annabel Means. Michael is also survived by his grandmother, Joan Heaney of Medway, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Faithful handler to K9 Axel (deceased).

Michael was a member of the Natick and Massachusetts Police Officers Association. 

When not at work, he loved spending time at home with his girls and playing hockey with his best friends. A kind, funny and loyal man who built strong relationships with strangers who quickly became lifelong friends. 

Funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, Natick Common on Monday April 25th at 9am.  Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church 44 East Central Street (Rt. 135) Natick at 10am.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Interment Private. 

Visiting Hours on Sunday April 24th from 3-7 p.m. in the funeral home.
