FRAMINGHAM – Christopher Goetcheus passed away recently at home in Framingham after a long illness at the age of 57.
Besides his parents, John and Sabra Goetcheus of Hampden, Chris is survived by his brother, David Goetcheus of Enfield, CT as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Chris was a graduate of Minnechaug Regional High School in Wilbraham where he spent most of his formative years. He received a BA degree from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University.
In recent years he held managerial positions with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Consumer Affairs and Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Boston.
During his leisure time, he loved watching hockey games and the Boston Red Sox. He enjoyed reading and writing; he always wanted to write a screen play. He loved visiting his friends and being near the ocean.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Norton Funeral Home, Framingham.
The funeral and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
