MARLBOROUGH – Nancy Lee (Coppola) Smith, 67 a lifelong resident of Marlboro, died on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston after a long illness.

She was born in Marlboro, the daughter of the late Albert C. and Helen M. (Jestic) Coppola.

Nancy leaves her husband of 40 years, Frank A Smith.

She worked at Raytheon for 40 years, she enjoyed genealogy, reading, springtime and her memorable trip to Italy with Frank and her family trips to Martha’s Vineyard.

In addition to her husband Frank, Nancy is survived by her 3 sons, Brian Smith and his wife Diane of Marlboro, Mark Smith of Shrewsbury, Frank Smith IV of Marlboro; 4 grandchildren, Samantha, Zachary, Nicole, Emily; 3 great grandchildren, Sophie, Mason and Sadie; her sister, Christine McCarthy of Marlboro; nephews, Todd and Jason and many grandnieces and nephews.

She also leaves the Remick Family, too many memories to count and years pass but friends stay, Judy, Linda, Resa, thank you.

Nancy was predeceased by her grandson, Frank A. Smith V in 2019 and a brother, Albert Coppola Jr., in 1979.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect Street in Marlboro.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 23, from 6-8 p.m. in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. MainStreet in Marlboro.
