SOUTHBOROUGH   – Robert “Bob” Cohn passed away peacefully on March 8, 2022, peacefully at home after a long illness.

Bob was born in Trinidad, West Indies on April 10, 1951 to John and Elsa Cohn.

He graduated Salem High School with the class of 1969 and attended Salem State before joining the US Marine Corps. He later began his career as a commercial/ private airline pilot.

Bob is survived by his loving daughter Lauren, Lauren’s mother in law: Connie Hanna Shay, Lauren’s husband Joe Shay and children: Samantha, Erica and Joseph Shay III as well as his brother, sisters, nieces and nephews. Bob was known for his upbeat personality and great sense of humor. He will be missed by many. 

A visiting hour will be held Saturday March 26 from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. at Boyle Bros. Funeral Home, 173 Union Avenue in Framingham.

A funeral Mass will follow at St. Matthew’s Church, 26 Highland Street in Southborough at 11 a.m. Interment will be private. 

Immediately after Mass, the family invites all to a reception at Ken’s Steak House, 95 Worcester Road in Framingham.
