FRAMINGHAM – Hazel Belloli died peacefully at the age of 97 on Friday February 11, 2022, in her room at Brookdale Cushing Assisted Living in Framingham.

Hazel, born on October 1, 1924, was the beloved daughter of Florence and Edmond Binns of Ashland.

She spent her formative years in Ashland and graduated from Ashland High School in 1941.

During World War II, she worked for Fenwal Corp. of Framingham and met her future husband, Carlo “Red” Belloli, while car-pooling to work at that time.

After their marriage they were life-long residents of Framingham.

They had two children, Elaine F. (Belloli) Husted, and Carlo P. Belloli.

Hazel was preceded in death by her husband Red in 1992, and her daughter Elaine, 2005.

Hazel is survived by her son Carlo, her sister Edie of Millis, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Hazel was a truly loving person who asked little and gave much.  The world is a better place for having had her.

In keeping with Hazel’s wishes, a memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Norton Funeral Home, Framingham.
