ASHLAND – Roberta M. Garnick, 72 of Ashland and former longtime resident of Natick passed away Monday, February 28, 2022, after a long battle with CNS Lymphoma. 

Born in Arlington, she was the daughter of the late Wilfrid and Roberta (Totten) Landry and beloved wife of the late Ronald Garnick, who died in 2001.

Bobbie was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Waltham and later worked as a cosmetologist for Clinique Co. in Natick.

Bobbie loved to entertain, and was endowed with a truly generous and welcoming spirit that brought much joy to her family and friends. In addition to spending time with her family she loved gardening, shopping and spending time in Florida at the beach.

Bobbie is survived by two sons in Ashland; Ryan Garnick (Eleanor), and Randall Garnick (Erin). Sister of Gary Landry (Susan) of Tuftonboro, NH, Janese Mullen (Chet) of Chenango Falls, NY, and Doug Landry (Peggy) of Waltham, MA. Grandmother of Nathaniel and Edmund. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friend Laura Luoni.

A funeral service will be held Friday March 4 at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street in Ashland.

Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4:00-5:45 p.m.prior to the service. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Brain Tumor Society, In Memory of Roberta Garnick.
