FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham has declared a snow emergency and a parking ban on all arterial roads will go into effect at 6 a.m., Friday, February 25, until 6 a.m., Saturday, February 26.

Arterial roads are designated with posted red and white signs. This parking ban is in addition to the citywide year-round odd/even parking restriction on all streets. Residents are encouraged to seek off-street parking and not interfere with snow clearing operations. Any vehicle obstructing snow clearing
operations will be towed.

Due to the storm, trash and recycling WILL NOT be collected tomorrow, Friday, February 25. Collection is already on a holiday schedule, delayed by one day. Collection will be delayed by one additional day, meaning:
• Thursday’s collection will occur on Saturday, February 26.
• Friday’s collection will occur on Sunday, February 27.

Please DO NOT place trash and recycling carts on the street and sidewalk. Carts placed in the
public right-of-way are an obstruction to plowing equipment.
