ASHLAND – Ashland Public Schools reported 13 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, according to Superintendent Jim Adams.

The new cases were at:

Pittaway School 0

Warren School 2

Mindess School 6

Ashland Middle School 4

Ashland High School 1

Families of impacted children will be notified by their building principals.

At the high school, impacted students will be notified by email. Please ask your high school student to check their school email account regularly.


If your child is fully vaccinated* for COVID-19, please continue to monitor for symptoms. Further testing is  not required, and they can continue to come to school if they are not experiencing symptoms. If your child develops any symptoms, they should remain home and get tested for COVID-19.

If your child is not fully vaccinated* but is symptom-free for COVID-19, they can continue to come to school unless otherwise notified by a school nurse. If your child develops any symptoms, they should remain home and get tested for COVID-19.

At this time, fully vaccinated is defined by the state as two weeks following the completion of the Pfizer or Moderna series or two weeks following a single dose of Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.
