1 Mayor Charlie Sisitsky announced that the Framingham Public Schools will receive 3,500 rapid COVID-19 test kits today from the City of Framingham at last night’s City Council finance subcommittee meeting.

The Mayor’s public schedule is not available today, but he may attend the City Council meeting tonight.

2. City of Framingham meetings:

  • Framingham City Council meeting at 7 p.m.
  • Framingham Historical Commission at 7 p.m.
  • Framingham Historic District Commission at 7 p.m.

3. Mayor Sisitsky is requesting about $115,000 from the City Council to hire a HR Director and a Planning & Economic Development Director. The fincom gave its approve last night in an unanimous vote. The full 11-member City Council is expected to vote tonight on the measure.

Also during last night’s fincom meeting the president of AF-TV and a cable talk show Audrey Hall had a “hot mic” incident.

During a discussion about procedure, City Council Chair George King made a statement and immediately after that statement Audrey Hall could be heard saying “He’s such a $#@ dick.”

5. A man, 65, was struck by a Framingham Public Schools bus last night around 5 p.m. He was airlifted to a Boston hospital.
