FRAMINGHAM – Cheryl A. (Tognacci) Tolan, age 70, of Worcester, formerly a longtime resident of Framingham, died peacefully on November 15, 2021, after a period of declining health.

Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the later Anthony “Mario” and Charlotte (Fox) Tognacci.

She formerly worked Keefe Technical High School in the food services department.

Cheryl found all the beauty and peacefulness as an artist.  She enjoyed painting seascapes and listening to music, especially Judy Collins, Joni Mitchell and Led Zeppelin.  She also wrote poetry and loved dancing.

It always put a smile on her face when going to White Horse Beach in Plymouth with her family.

Cheryl is survived by her children, David Tolan and his wife Maureen and Richard Tolan.  She is also survived by her grandson, Hawk Tolan; a brother, Anthony Tognacci, and sisters, Valerie Lindholm, Joan Tognacci, Margot Tognacci and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Cheryl’s funeral Mass on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at 10 a.m. at St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverly Street in Framingham.  

Burial will follow at St. Tarcisius Cemetery in Framingham.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Norton Funeral Home, Framingham.
