FRAMINGHAM – A Framingham Assistant Principal will be the interim principal for the 2021-22 school year at Harmony Grove Elementary School.
Earlier this month Principal Purnima DeMorais accepted a position with the Tewksbury Public Schools and left in the middle of the school year. Her last day was Friday, October 29.
Framingham Public Schools announced Assistant Principal Juliana Kessler Marcos will serve as interim principal for the rest of the school year.
“I am thrilled to announce that I have been appointed as Harmony Grove’s Interim Principal for the remainder of the school year. Serving our community as vice principal has been such an honor, and I look forward to continuing my advocacy for student safety, social-emotional fulfillment, and academic growth in this new role,” said Kessler Marcos.

Retired Superintendent of the Dover Sherborn Schools Andrew Keough will be an administrative coach for Kessler Marcos’ administrative coach, announced the public school district.
Framingham Public Schools also plans to hire an interim assistant principal for the school located in District 9.
“Harmony Grove is committed to providing high quality, challenging, international education that nurtures active, open-minded, reflective and balanced life-long learners. … We have an amazing staff, our students are rockstars, and I’m excited for a great year together,” said the new assistant Principal to families.
