FRAMINGHAM – A vehicle struck a pole this morning, September 7, at the intersection of Grant and Mansfield streets. The crash happened at 189 Grant Street at 8:40 a.m.

Grant Street is closed between Mansfield and Pond streets, said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

A motor vehicle pulled out of Mansfield Street and struck another motor vehicle traveling on Grant, causing that vehicle to strike a pole, explained Lt. Mickens.

No one was injured, said Lt. Mickens.

One driver was cited, said Lt. Mickens.

The intersection has seen an increase in crashes, and near-misses, and residents in the neighborhood have complained for months for something to be done about it.
